Travelling solo is an incredibly freeing experience. There is nothing quite like stepping off the plane for the first time in a new and unexplored destination, ready to take on the world by yourself! However, you need to be able to plan ahead of time, be organised and have your wits about you, as you’ll have no one but yourself to rely on.

Barcelona is unfortunately considered to be the pickpocket capital of Europe. This connotation can be scary for a lot of visitors, and it sure did make us wonder if travelling there with two cameras would even be a good idea to begin with.

Road trips are a great way to embark on a grand adventure without spending too much money on things like plane tickets but, unless you have a plan (and are willing to stick to it), it can still be easy to blow your budget!

Nothing beats the emotion of diving into a new environment and discovering a new culture and way of living, even if the nervousness of facing the unknown can sometimes be strong. The best thing is to always be prepared.
